With our high quality whitening products you can expect to brighten 4-14 shades! Results will vary from person to person depending on genetics, starting shade, the type of staining on your teeth, along with several other unique factors. Everyone has a natural stopping point which their teeth will not whiten past.
Like most cosmetic treatments, teeth whitening is not permanent. Results can last 3-12 months depending on genetics, diet/lifestyle, oral hygiene, and enamel formation. Results last longest when you avoid smoking, avoid staining food/beverages, use a straw, and have regular dental cleanings. Touch-Up treatments and at home maintenance is encouraged to achieve long-lasting results. Maintenance is key!
Your results are immediate and your teeth can even continue to whiten 1-2 shades during the 24 hours after your treatment!
Our Signature Treatment takes a total of 90 minutes. This includes your complimentary remineralizing and desensitizing session, before/after photos, gum barrier application, and 3 20 minute rounds of whitening.
Sensitivity levels will vary from person to person.
Teeth whitening can cause sensitivity to the teeth and gums. Some clients experience little to no sensitivity, while other clients may need to limit the strength and time of whitening to avoid sensitivity. If you are worried about sensitivity we are happy to offer a customized treatment option. If you experience sensitivity after your treatment, over the counter pain relievers can help to alleviate sensitivity if you choose to take them. Other methods you can use to help combat sensitivity will be discussed at your appointment.
We offer a complimentary re-mineralizing/desensitizing session for every client. If you have a history of sensitive teeth we recommend using Sensodyne, or a toothpaste containing hydroxyapatite for several weeks leading up to your appointment. Staying well hydrated the 24 hours before and after your appointment is encouraged as well.
Yes, our products are enamel safe and made of clean, high quality ingredients. We have been professionally trained and take pride in ensuring a safe and effective treatment for our clients.
There is insufficient research in regards to pregnancy/nursing and teeth whitening. We recommend you consult with an ob/gyn prior to scheduling a treatment.
Because dental work is made of inorganic material, it will not respond to the treatment the same as your natural teeth will. However, we can whiten all surface stains from the dental work to return it to the shade it was when the dentist first put it in.
If you are due for your 6 month cleaning with your dentist, we recommend you schedule that appointment before your teeth whitening appointment! Please allow 48 hours before coming in for your professional whitening treatment to help avoid any increased sensitivity.
If you are having any kind of cosmetic dental work done, we encourage you to get your teeth whitened beforehand! This will allow your dentist to color match your new crown, veneer, implant, or composite bonding to your white smile!
We can treat clients 16 and older with parental consent.
To ensure best results, you will want to avoid eating any food or drinks that can stain the teeth for at least 48hrs. This includes coffee, tea, red wine, juices, berries, red meat, food with artificial colors, etc. You should also avoid using colored toothpaste/mouthwash, and refrain from smoking for as long as possible.
Results from whitening vary from person to person and on the type of stains. Teeth whitening generally works best on yellow-brown stains compared to grey stains. Please keep In mind, everyone has a natural stopping point. We are unable to guarantee results, and so many factors play into effect when it comes to staining on the teeth.
